It seems that in RDAirPlay only the cart screen is really sensitive to screen size (static or dynamic).
It would be nice to find a way to introduce dynamic screen sizing into Rivendell. As long as the "one size fits all" philosophy is in place, it probably needs to stay 1024x768, since we must support the least common denominator. We wouldn't want to make Rivendell unusable on older hardware just because it now supports only higher resolutions or wide aspect ratios. The best way to support larger screen sizes, would be to make the screen size dynamic. That way we can utilize newer hardware while maintaining backward compatibility. That would at least require some thoughts about how to lay out the cart screen grid. Such work may also relate to the occasionally discussed upgrade to a newer version of qt. -Andy On Wed, Feb 22, 2012 at 09:54, Richard Gorbutt <[email protected]> wrote: > rdairplay is fixed and designed for 1024x768.
