After some working around - I was able to solve this using Jack. There is definitely something not working very well with the envy24 card in the way in which it routes audio internally.
Here is the configuration that was added to rd.conf to get the audio routing to work: [JackSession] #TREAT ALL OUTPUTS AS STEREO Source1=rivendell_0:playout_0L Destination1=alsa_pcm:playback_1 Source2=rivendell_0:playout_0R Destination2=alsa_pcm:playback_2 Source3=rivendell_0:playout_1L Destination3=alsa_pcm:playback_3 Source4=rivendell_0:playout_1R Destination4=alsa_pcm:playback_4 # SEND INPUT 1/2 TO RD PORT 0 STEREO Source5=alsa_pcm:capture_1 Destination5=rivendell_0:record_0L Source6=alsa_pcm:capture_2 Destination6=rivendell_0:record_0R # SEND INPUT 3/R4TO RD PORT 1 STEREO Source7=alsa_pcm:capture_3 Destination7=rivendell_0:record_1L Source8=alsa_pcm:capture_4 Destination8=rivendell_0:record_1R On 2013-01-29, at 8:32 AM, Brian McGlynn wrote: > Hello, > > I figured a picture is worth 1,000 words as they say.
