Hi Rob Have you tried using a linux terminal to control your switcher? eg rmlsend --to-host=IP_NUMBER_OF_HOST ST\ 1\ 1\ 1\! (Change the 1's to whatever you would normally use for your set up)
I use bash scripts to control our broadcast tools switcher here via a USB external serial interface. It works like a dream. I normally use the SA (switch add) and SR (switch remove) commands for my station.
