Hello again… Just a follow-up. Somebody here mentioned that they’d had similar issues which ended up being due to database corruption (and thanks for saying so!). Turns out mine were, too.
In this case, the database had been with me since Rivendell 1.x, and was getting a bit messy anyways. So after fighting with the nonsensical GPI issue for a week, I figured it was as good a time as any for a database rebuild. Ended up dumping the CARTS and CUTS tables, writing down the rest of the config, and then dropped the whole database. After re-entering everything into RDAdmin, RDLogManager, etc (wanted to eliminate as much of the old database as I could) and re-inserting the CARTS and CUTS data, things are finally working properly. Though I still don’t know exactly what the problem was, I suspect an in-place solution wouldn’t have applied to anyone but me (this database having been through so many moves and upgrades over the past eight years, it was likely in a rather - um - “unique” state). Still, I hope this little tidbit will spare someone a little frustration in the future! --------------- Keith Thelen Kanabec Systems _______________________________________________ Rivendell-dev mailing list [email protected] http://caspian.paravelsystems.com/mailman/listinfo/rivendell-dev
