 Yes.
 Thus far, the experience has been quite good ! A few bumps, but...
 Of course, my "cloud" is under my control, and a 1000-BaseT wire.
 ( actually, two 1000-BaseT wires. One for LiveWire, and one for everything 
else )
 I wouldn't recommend on a slow link.
 My "cloud server" is also high end hardware.
 We considered Zeon processors, but settled for Core-7's.

 I've discussed doing exactly this kind of service, but we haven't
 implemented it yet, and your "no budget" comment means it wouldn't
 be a viable solution for you anyway.
