 Don't misunderstand !
 It does work, and it is working.

 It's also true that it's all Cisco Catalyst "G" switches,
 Axia Fusion consoles, all 1000BaseT NIC's, Intel Core-i7 processors,
 16G RAM RAID1 machines, new CAT wiring, redundant Rivendell
 installations, full conversion hospital grade UPS's, ...
 Our slowest link is 100BaseT symmetric fiber to internet.
 There's also several RaspberryPI's, so it's not *all* high end stuff, but
 since our revenue stream depends on it, and with Rivendell being
 by and for professional broadcasters, it's not done on the cheap, either.

 It's also partly an experiment intended for a different market. 
 Yes, my site is a "proving ground" for Rivendell advancements pre-release.
 And, yes, we did invest a tad more than a buck two ninety eight !
