Adding the rate to the asound does not work.  We have had to do that with
these sound adapters to make them work.  With the new version of Rivendell
that does not work anymore.  And to be honest it may be something else that
was updated.  I think Jack is my solution.  But I have tried to understand
Jack.  But it seems pretty complicated.
