The reason why I would have had you submit another one is simply for
clarity w/ minimum dependency on ephemeral institutional memory.
Suppose we have some sort of IP issue in the future - say a lawsuit -
and the ASF needs to show that it has ICLAs for all contributors.
I've won the lottery and purchased and retired to the Principality of
Sealand, and you've decided to corner the market on ice cube mines in
antarctica.
How do we defend the fact that we have no paperwork on file from you
w/o us individuals having to be involved to resolve the ambiguity?
