My understanding is that a PowerBook can boot from an external drive. It
may be easier to pick up an inexpensive enclosure on ebay and use your
$50 used 10GB SuSE drive to see if Linux-on-ppc is worth a shot. Failing
the 10GB drive, I have some larger disks you could borrow.
