Cmt and question:
1, The documentation is inaccurate. When running mariadb on RH, CentOS,
etc, you *must* also install mariadb-devel. That, for some reason,
contains mysql_config, rather than it being in mariadb or mariaddb-server.
2. Is it the case that I need a separate d/b for each filesystem? For
example, if home directories are nfs mounted from half a dozen servers,
does this mean I need half a dozen d/b *just* for /home?
If this has been covered before, please point me to the info.
Thanks in advance.
