Greetings, I'm a fairly new user myself but I can share what I've experimented with.

I have two "data" directories which I mounted /cluster/data[12] and as a single mount point I had Robinhood just pointed to /cluster as the top level. It didn't seem to care. For managerial reasons I ended up splitting it later on into separate mounts though. I don't know what the cons might be to doing it this way and I never did anything with NFS so I don't know of any gotcha's there either. The one caution/heads-up I will give: if you have multiple partitions then you will need to do some trickery for the web-interface since it looks to just one db at a time. There are some pointers in the mailing list[1] and a few attempts at building one[2], but I never got them to work quite right. If you have a small bit of SQL experience, it is fairly trivial to pull in the data and display it nicely. If you go this route, let me know and I might be able to give you some pointers. I didn't implement the full Robinhood view, just the portions I really need and found useful but I can at least help you get started.
