Have you tried running ICVerify.exe and processing a card manually from the winnt/system32 directory?

Thanks, but I don't think that is the issue in my case. Our bank doesn't require such tight security (yet). My problem is that Rodopi doesn't seem to be talking to ICV at all. Not that I'm sending bad data or not enough data. The modem doesn't even pick up the hook.
I have gone through the ICV setup (same as you discribe below, and yes the icvole32.exe does create the ole connection between Rodopi and ICV.) and I still can't get the two to talk. Each time I test an account Rodopi post the credit it and also shows "Credit card transaction failed!" but the the transaction was ever actually done.

Paul,
I just went through something like this last weekend but was forced to upgrade from ICVerify 2.26 to 3.10 and change settlement houses from paymentech to cardnet. They said that 2.26 was not compliant with new Visa and Mastercard security standards. Of course I had to pay for the upgrade.
The process is like this:
Install software in its default directory (C:\icwin226 in your case).
Run ICsetup.exe and make sure everything is configured correctly for your company. Run ICVerify.exe and manually process a credit card for $1 to make sure it works.
Then copy ICverify.set to ICVE0001.set. Get a command prompt and copy _all_ files from the ICVerify default directory to C:/winnt/system32/.
Then run ICVole32.exe from the system32 directory. Press initialize and then exit. (I think this ties ICVerify to Rodopi and might be what you are missing.)
Good luck,
Tom

Hi All,
It seems that Rodopi 5.1sp2 and ICVerify 2.26 quit talking to each other. Here is what transpired, we started to get invalid terminal id errors. I called our bank and they said that our merchant number had changed and I need to put in a new one. Well, in doing that the money hungry ICVerify people always wants $100 buck whenever a change is made. ICV is closed on Saturday so I couldn't validate.
When I talk to the bank today they said the would set our number back to the old one an life will be good again. I have tested ICVerify through its window console and it seems to be just fine. Now when Rodopi attempts nothing seems to happen. I get no logs in ICV and the modem (external and reset a million and one times). I attempted to restore the old set files from backup, ICV folks said that wouldn't be necessary but I did it any way. Still no luck.
Anyone know what else I can check. Nothing is in the event viewer and Rodopi only says "Credit card transaction failed!" during a batch, but those that I have attempted to run do not appear in FailedCC and I cannot pull them up again on the Batch job. (This is really something else that has to be dealt with, just wanted to give as much info as possible.)
Thanks, Paul
