First off, I'd like to say thanks to everyone for their indirect help. I've been a part of the ROM list for about a year now, and have learned much from everyone here, especially Edwin and Sandi. After reading all of this about nostalgia and the like, I climbed up into my attic, and brought down my TRS-80. Anyone out there know where to get a power supply for one? And, to those of you who think its worth money... it's not.

Now I'm actually contemplating writing a mud that'll run on nothing but punchcards ;) WHY????? Cause it sounds interesting, and it'd be one of those things that could be submitted to like a "mud museum" or somethin ;) Just would be funny to write something that uses that old of technology, then chuckle at these people who can't figure out what sprintf does or somethin (even though there are a 1000+ examples infront of their face) Who knows, might be something interesting to try out..... And if I run out of punchcards, I'll just redo the whole thing on milar, I've got a couple thousand feet of that lieing around.... (and I wont have to worry about misplacing a card ;) ) -- Jamie Harrell | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | URL: http://icechild.dhs.org ICQ: 2985611 | AIM: Liquidicie -- "A computer scientist is someone who, when told to 'Go to Hell', sees the 'go to', rather than the destination, as harmful." -- *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 2/1/2002 at 1:37 PM Tom Whiting wrote: >On 1/31/2002 at 4:36 PM Everyone else wrote: ><SNIP!><SNIP!> > >Okay, since we're getting into the nostalgia bit here..
