What good is arts anyway?  What can people do with it?  I honestly don't have 
a clue.  I must be missing some MIDI capability that arts must have on 
certain hardware or something.  All it does for me, as far as I can tell, is 
provide a way for arts-aware applications to play audio, rather like a less 
complicated and more functional (on my hardware, at least) Jack.
