Not necessarily trivial to get right though: apart from anything else Lilypond requires some environment variables and so forth to be set up if the dvips step is to work correctly. I guess we need the print dialog to offer a choice of print backends too -- I think it can print to a filter, but that's not the same (because the input to the filter has to be PostScript, and we'd want the Lilypond step to take the place of the PS step).
