OK, I was thinking not, originally. Do the color, then name it. Now that I've seen it, I'm thinking that I will be wanting to pick a color to represent something, so naming the concept and then choosing a groovy color to associate with it does indeed seem the way to go. Seems to work. I'll commit it directly. The only other things that catch my eye at the moment are the new/delete buttons. Nothing wrong with that implementation, but I've got a whole little "star = new" "X = delete" thing going in other places, so I'm thinking about how that symbolism could apply here. Might not be practical. No good ideas are jumping out at me, so perhaps the thing to do is to let it be. Not that I have any kind of final say in GUI (or any other) matters anyway, mind you. It's just that I'm usually the one who gets motivated to draw all these stupid little icons. > > Users suck, don't they? :) > > Nah, it's better than the coding I do in the lab where the only feedback > comes from me and one other person - it's nice to get comments for once! Well, now that I've played a bit more, I'm even more enthusiastic about this. I wouldn't have put a lot of effort into this feature personally, but I'm glad you did. It really is nice. -- Michael McIntyre ---- Silvan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Linux fanatic, and certified Geek; registered Linux user #243621 Confirmed post number: 16749 Approximate word count: 502470 http://www.geocities.com/Paris/Rue/5407/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
