I am sorry to point out, but the clef of the tenor voice in the example is
erronous.
The correct clef to be used in tenor voice, and in guitar music too, is
\clef "G_8",
not \clef "G" (in LilyPond syntax). For a typographical example of \clef
"G_8", see

There is number "_8" below the clef which is used to mark that the clef is
transposed
an octave down (or, similarly, number "^8" is used to mark that the clef is
transposed
an octave up).
