I just thought I'd let everyone know that I'm still here every day, even though I'm working 86 hours a week at two jobs. My gardens are going to pot, and I'm going to need a bush hog for my lawn soon, but I'm still making what time I can for Rosegarden, which has largely been a matter of staring at an empty inbox lately.
It's great to see Yves making good on his intention to knock out some bugs. Great stuff happening there, without a doubt. Is anyone else doing anything? My monitor died, and in the process of getting my old computer to try to talk to my new monitor, I somehow wound up in a state where the stupid thing wouldn't even attempt to boot any device. I'm not sure what happened, but it looks ugly. So I finally took possession of Mom's computer, and now I have a Pentium D 3.20 GHz box with 4 GB of RAM, and I can build Rosegarden from scratch in record time. I also have a widescreen monitor now. Rosegarden really sits vastly better on a widescreen monitor. It's amazing how much more room there is to work now. All in all, I'm in great shape to do something now, but I don't have anything on my agenda, except waiting for my roses to bloom so I can do the 2.0 splash screen. -- D.
