I haven't checked any of this out yet, but I do have a thought on this. It looks like all the color shift whatever stuff is happening on the segment canvas, and that's a fine thing to do. However, I wonder what happens when I open a muted segment in an edit view, and what happens when I mute or un-mute a segment that's already open in an edit view? I think the contents of the edit view should reflect the muted state too. I'd probably do this in whatever engine is drawing what, and do a test for isMute() or whatever and alter the color accordingly in some clever way; along with signals/slots to flip things around when the segment mute status changes. -- D.
