I made a fork... (just kidding ;-) I created my own experimental
branch (phil_tmp) to share with you a couple of new (small) features:
- repeated segments: handle a "repeatTimes" attribute to limit the
number of times a segment is repeated
- marker shortcuts: each marker can be associated to a keyboard
shortcut (through the editing dialog) to move from marker to marker
within the main window (not applicable to other windows though -- even
if I could do a not-so-clean patch to allow for this)
- segment muting: a very preliminary, MIDI-only implementation to mute
a single segment in a track

I also have plans to look into the issue of instruments mapping to
softsynths (when processes are run in a different order and get a
different ALSA id).
