Did I miss something? Did somebody fix something?

Just to be really clear here, I just did a svn up and built everything that
was in the pipeline.

I start RG, start VMPK or QSynth or Zyn or any random thing I can think of
and:

a) No automatic anything happens (fine).

b) Even though I know it's there, and I want to connect to it, I can't connect
to it from inside Rosegarden, because it never shows up in the ports list, and
while the refresh buttons appear to cause something to happen, they never
bring about getting the synth I just started to show up in the available ports
list.

There's a lot flying around to try to keep up with, but I have the impression
one or both of you have verified that this does work, and Chris has already
looked into new device polling and found it to be working.

It's definitely *not* working here.

Maybe I should do a clean build after work just in case or something. Or
maybe I'm just not understanding everything in my haste.
