I know the feeling about not having time to get anything done around here.

I don't have time to think about it at the moment, but that sounds like it
will turn out to be a very ugly problem to figure out.

I don't think it is on the bug tracker. The big anacrusis problem I know
about has to do with Rosegarden not being able to handle short bars, where the
time within the space of, say, bar 4 is taken up by the tail end of one
segment and the head end of another. The time is correct, but Rosegarden
wants to fill out the empty space for each segment, and it makes a complete
mess of things. This comes up when you have a pickup leading into a repeating
section that butts against another repeating section, with a final short bar
to round out the time at the far end of the composition.

It's hard to describe briefly. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I
should be able to find an example to illustrate the problem. The Arban's
trumpet method book is teeming with them.

If you do, still being around six months from now is better than disappearing
completely.

Everybody seems to be short on time these days. Myself, I'm in the process of
changing jobs for the third time this year. Hopefully the third time is the
charm. I won't have much more free time, but I will have a little more, and
hopefully be just slightly less miserable. The 70-hour weeks are grinding me
down fast where I am now.
