I'll just add a final comment that although I favor the functionality
Tom is considering adding, I won't whine if it ends up not being
added.  I realize there are some risks (complicating the interface,
potentially introducing bugs, etc.); plus I don't feel my voice
should have as much weight as people who contribute to the project,
especially considering I've remained only an occasional user. (I hope
to remedy that before too many years pass - it's just too useful a
tool and there's so much I could do with it.)
 
And - of course, this goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway -
great thanks to all who have contributed to this powerful program.
