Hi Bill, |Entities unable to demonstrate a need to multihome 500 machines are |refused direct assignments, resulting in tying to a single ISP and |incomplete propagation of multihoming addresses within BGP.
Seems not unreasonable to me. Since our current architecture can't support that kind of multi-homing load, we're trying to avoid the load. If you're arguing that the status-quo doesn't meet users needs, I agree with you, of course. If you're arguing that we should do something to meet those needs, I also agree. However, in the case where we fail to do anything, yes, those needs will be unmet. This is the obvious outcome unless we can overcome the partisan bickering and find compromise. |> Do we need to reliably quantify where the Earth will reach |the tipping point |> into a irreversible greenhouse effect before global warming |is relevant? | |Yes, we do. Cool. Enjoy your Hummer. Why are you spending your time here then? Tony _______________________________________________ rrg mailing list [email protected] https://www.irtf.org/mailman/listinfo/rrg
