Bill,As a former chair in the IRSG I can tell you that Tony is within his rights to not even bother to call for a consensus. He has done so, but he gets to determine what that consensus is. That having been said, this is a research group. If you don't like the definitions, don't use them in your work. Nobody is forcing you to do so.
