Where did you come up with that? He has no such responsibility. He has a responsibility to see that routing research is spurred from his group. If he doesn't do that, then there's no point to the group. And how he does that is *completely* up to him and Lixia.


As a participant, I have a responsibility to call him on it
when I see him miss the mark and, if necessary, establish a well
justified record of dissent.

And he as a chair could boot your butt out, if he so chose. This is *not* the IETF.
