I should have mentioned that. The old format will still be supported. In
fact, I expect that many, many installations will continue to use it, as for
the very simple use cases of workstations and laptops the old format is hard
to beat.

Over time, however, some of the advanced features will probably no longer
work with the old format, but that needs to be seen. And the old format will
definitely never receive updates for new features.

In any case, with what I have on my mind, the old format will probably be
just another way to generate the same in-memory representation of the config.

However, I will most probably NOT permit to mix old and new format inside a
single file.
