I am concerned about readability when using a text editor as front-end. The
primary reason that I mislike XML configs is that it often is extremely hard
to read them without a dedicated tool. But...

... well spoken! That's one of the obvious things I overlooked. I'll try to
dig out best practices and if someone knows where to look, any help is
appreciated ;)
