No worries. Time is always a premium. Just wanted to get this to you now that I
finally got output.

The active version I'm going to be deploying is rsyslog 7.4.4 with libestr
0.1.8. (We try to keep to stable releases for production) But that capture is
from 7.5.5dev with libestr 0.1.8 in my test environment. I could probably get
that output from 7.4.4 now, but I suspect the issue is the same for both since
it happens in the exact same sequence for both.

Let me know if you want me to grab the output for 7.4.4 and I'll redo the test
environment with it.

Ohh, that's really good (had a quick peek ;)). Just so that I pick the right
file version: you use rsyslog 7.5.5 and libestr 0.1.8 from the downloadable
tarballs?
