Thanks Mauricio for the summary. I somehow had a bit different, more
interactive, picture on my mind when I thought about hangouts on air. With
yesterday's testing and some thinking that probably doesn't really make so
much sense, at least if you have a *large* audience (which we typically
will not have, I guess).

Anyhow, I still think this is a good tool. The somewhat reduced
interactivity also has an advantage: it removes some of the TZ
restrictions. That means that I can probably record hangouts in time frames
that are quite unfriendly for zones other than CET. Also, I probably do not
need to announce them way in advance, which reduces my scheduling problems.

I'll now look into topics that could be used for some real starter hangouts.
