Sale

Dear Friend,On 22nd of July, 2008 we all witnessed an embarrassing scene in
thecountry's parliament. We saw that how our parliamentarian and moreover
thewhole democracy is becoming a *mandi* where our elected leaders are
sellingthemselves openly. But what we saw was just a tip of iceberg. In it not
onlythe parliamentarians but other persons are also involved.- *Is the crime of
these people any way less than the crime ofthose terrorists who attacked
Parliament?*- *Shouldn't there be charges of sedition against them?*Now what we
should do - should we remain silent like this? If we remainedsilent like this
then one day these parliamentarian will sell us and theentire nation.· *We are
filing RTI applications to let the rulers know that peopleof this country also
can question them.*· *Also, a protest is being initiated at India Gate to let
them knowthat we are sick of them.*An RTI application and a flier on India Gate
protest are enclosed. We wouldrequest you to file the RTI application yourself
and ask others to do so.You are also requested to be a part of the protest at
India Gate on 27thJuly Sunday at 6.00 pm.This appeal is not from any party or
organisation. It is from a common manto a common man. Your presence there only
will become your voice.* **If we do not raise our voice today, then tomorrow
probably nothing would beleft to save.****Manish Sisodia**Right to Information
