Disposal Statistics available on the CIC website are good for nothing. For example, for the month of September 2008, the statistics showed the following as on 1st October 2008: Opening Balance: 8715 Receipt: 423 Disposal: 468 Closing balance: 8670 Cumulative disposal: 16808 Suddenly, on 14th November 2008, the figures for September 2008 were changed to: Opening Balance: 8759 Receipt: 878 Disposal: 552 Closing balance: 9085 Cumulative disposal: 16909
How did the figures suddenly change 40 days after the closure of the month ? Where did the 455 new receipts come from ? Were the receipts backdated ? Maybe you should ask your Chinese friends !
