Hi Anurag Prasad,

I am not sure about the frivolus RTI Applications in this case in particular
but the fact remains that I have been approached by few people and let me
tell you for what.

I was parking my car in the Pay & Park area of BMC K West Ward. The car
parking attendant approached me, and told me that saab, do you see the
builsding behind me. The builder has got CC for 4 floors and he has built an
additional floor, which is illegal. Since he knew that I am an RTI Activist,
he tells me that Please file an RTI application for me. The builder will
come for a settlement. both of us can divide the booty.

I was really bugged and gave him a piece of my mind.

Now RTI is indeed an excellent tool for the citizens of this country, but
any frivolus use will defeat the very purpose of this Act. So action needs
to be taken if some one is found guilty, but the golden question is you need
to prove that the said application is indeed frivolus.

But such people should be discouraged and we need to seriously look into
such misdeed by ant citizen.

Best Regards - Mohammed Afzal.
