What action is taken by public authorities on peoples
complaints/representations:
I had, during the last three years submitted a number of
complaints/representations to CEO, Noida Authority, Industrial Development
Commissioner, UP, Chief Secretary, UP and the Chief Minister UP . I never got
any reply to them. I requested PIO, Noida Authority to send me copy of the
notes and orders written by various authorities concerned on my said
complaints/representations. Fortunately, PIO sent me a copy each of the first
page of most of my complaints/representations on which the various concerned
officials had initialed without any notings and the complaint/representation
seemed to have been filed by the lowest official concerned thereafter.
Industrial Development Comissioner, the Chief Secretary and the CM, UP just
forwarded them to CEO Noida Authority who initialed them (without any noting)
and passed them on to his lower officials to be also initialed by each of them
(without any noting by any of them) and finally to be filed. Since the
names of the officials who initialed were generally not legible, I again put
in another RTI application requesting for the names of the officials initialing
my various complaints/representations to be given clearly and also a copy of
the rules according to which the complaints/representations are disposed
off/filed in Noida Authority office. I did not receive any reply to it. The
matter is pending under 1st appeal for the last over 3 months. Can anybody
inform me of any rules that may have been made by any govt for disposal of
complaints/representations received from the public. Thanks. Mksinghal
