Dear Parth, 1) Your post has nothing to do with RTI.
2) You are factually incorrect when you say that this song was composed in honour of George V. It is actually based on a hymn composed by the poet's eldest brother Dwijendranath Tagore and which has been used in worship by adherents of Adi Brahmo Samaj since 1880+. However, this hymn in its entirety is only a minor hymn of Brahmo religion and we Brahmos are not obliged to stand up when it is played (in public or private). 3) Jana Gana Mana is a hymn to God and has nothing to do with George V. This is ancient Hindu Maha Sabha propaganda crap which you are recirculating, and you had better get your facts / history correct. In fact it is "Vande Mataram" which is the seditious and anti-national song - used only by idol worshippers and polytheists. BTW did you know that Jana Gana Mana was also the official song of Doon School (since before Partition) where Gandhi-Nehru parivaar (incl Wajahat Habibullah) have studied for generations :-) 4) Just FYI my human genome contains all of Rabindranath Tagore's genetic material as well as Bankim Chandra's.
