1) Did you know that the music for Vande Mataram was also composed by Rabindranath Tagore? 2) Did you know that the first public performance of Vande Mataram was by Rabindranath Tagore himself. 3) Did you know that even the Bangladeshis (they are predominantly Muslim you know) have chosen another of Rabindranath Tagore's songs as their National Anthem? 4) Did you know that both Bankim Chandra and Rabindranath have written books / dramas about revolution and overthrowing Governments /Kings ? 5) Did you know that although Rabindranath and Bankim may have had their literary differences (inspired no doubt by the scandalous play Bankim wrote on RNT's father Debendranath Thakur - and which he later publicly regretted) it was not extended at a personal level?
