I agree with what Sri. Sarbajit says about online payment of fees. DoPT's rules are the real stumbling blocks since it forbid us to go any further. DoPT must amend the rules to allow online payments.
Luckily I have done that with State Level PA in Orissa since the same has been prescribed in the Orissa State Rules. I produce that part here. "Provided that a citizen seeking information through electronic means has to submit evidence regarding deposit of prescribed application fee." This is only for application fees. Payment of "Cost of information" is a separate ball game all together.
