Hello
I am new to this RT-Linux world and I am trying to determine if there is
a port
of the RT-Linux to a PowerPC target. We develop hard real-time
applications for aerospace and I am trying to assess the suitability of
RT-Linux for our use. Typically we have to develop our own kernels due
to the certification requirements that apply to our systems. However, we
would prefer to use and certify a kernel that has extensive use beyond
our own applications.
It seems that most targets for RT-Linux are PC (x86) architectures.
Is there an RT-Linux port to PowerPC or is the processor/board specific
elements of the kernel sufficiently partitioned that I could port the
kernel to my PowerPC architecture ?
Thanks for your time.
