I'm also interested in Linux and RTL on
VME PPC boards. I know of two attempts to get plain Linux
on VME PPC boards but no RTL.
1) One commercial and sucessful:

is aimed at selling hardware. I did not see any URL in the press release
or source code for Linux on their web site. ;-)
2) It seems that at least one person on
the planet has Linux runn^H^H^H^H err booting on a VME PPC:
