I haven't seen the ARM10 yet -- are implementations of it out?
In any case, there's lots of DSP that can be done without floating
point. As John von Neumann pointed out, if you understand the problem
you can scale your data. Especially given that the project I have in
mind involves back end DSP along with front end DSP ASICs that are all
fixed point.
