AGP is about eight times faster than PCI, when all of the enhancements
are considered. It also has lower latency because it is
point-to-point. It does not have to wait for all of the PCI devices
ahead of it to finish, before accessing the CPU or main memory, because
AGP accesses are interleaved with other accesses to memory.
What are your specific reservations concerning AGP?
