Digital Radio applications can use these rates for A/D and DAC
conversion.  Just ask Analog Devices, Nortel Networks, Motorola, and
Qualcomm.  It is a multi-Billion dollar real time business.  Currently,
this sort of application is done in a VME bus machine.  Digital Cellular
(PCS) base stations use these high rates to add as many channels as
possible to one station.  The data is passed to a DSP for processing.
