But when I run frag-ip with a packetsize < 30000 it ignores the cycletime of 1s and blocks my computer! Why? The send routine is in the 1s - cycle????
Even if you provide the "-t" parameter with frag-ip (yea, I know the documentation issue...)? The parameter makes frag-ip start the RTAI timer, something that would otherwise be done by loading the rtcfg or tdma module. At least on my box, I was only able to reproduce your observation when running frag-ip without "-t".
