As with all things in life, Money Talks, so perhaps that is the best

Sound philosophy Bill... Regretably if we had used it, River Raisin
wouldn't have made half of our projects! We figured if we could get
within 30 or 40 grand of break even, we were good enough salesmen to
make the project fly... Probably not sound business, but 'sound
business' in S scale is a bit of an oxymoron! <G>

We now have the pilot models of the Pioneer Zephyr and Flying Yankee,
including the full interior detail. Additionally we have given the
builder the go ahead for the C&O H4/6 2-6-6-2 project. Both still
have significant financial risk for us, but in the words of a great
movie line, "If it wasn't hard anybody could do it, it's the hard
that makes it good..."!

As far as coil cars go, would love to see them! Thought about them a
couple of times in S scale brass - three versions: Thrall, Evans Type
I and Evans Type II. But my own inclination is the support no longer
exists for brass freight cars, looks like someone else will have to
go for it.

P.S. Had a great time at the S Fest!
