Gene, Can't answer your question about the P-Ville water tower, but I too like to modify stuff to try and make it work with S. In case you did not see it, there was a really good article about modifying a P-Ville coal tower for S in the March 2004 CTT by Vic Roseman. He used a combination of HO, O and S pieces. But I just saw in the Sept/Oct issue of the SG that Rusty Stumps Scale Models is offering a variety of S detail parts, among them stair stringers which might be perfect for the coal tower mods. I have most of the pieces to start on the coal tower, but I plan to order the stair stringers from Rusty Stump instead of using the HO ones that Vic did. Cheers :) Roy Inman
