Your message had a certain irony. Twenty years ago guys like Jim
Phelps, Dick Wholf and others led S-Mod efforts in KC. The KC
modules (along with some from Michigan) went to the NMRA in Houston
in 1984 and they brought them to our convention in Novi, Michigan in
86. That was where my 'L' shaped double track diamond/ branch line
interchange module first operated. I believe they were also part of
KC's own NASG convention in 1989.
Times have indeed changed as your layout now sounds to be sectional
and KC hasn't done an NASG convention in years. Too bad, I travel to
KC often; it's a great railroad town and just a neat place to visit!
