I also purchased some of the wall units and the interlocking tower from
Trainstuff. Frankly, I think the quality of the final product was
lacking. It wasn't long after I started working on the wall sections
that they started to warp badly and in several directions at once! I
have debated whether to just toss them or spend a lot of time trying to
reheat and laminate them with something. Additionally, the interlocking
tower is somewhat oversized compared to the plans that have been
published (it's probably 0 scale). I did work on the half built kit,
sliced out a middle section, dropped it down to the correct height, but
again several of the pieces have warped, and of course, now I have to
totally rebuild the stairway. So in this case I think it would be
better to build this puppy from scratch. I can only speculate that the
mix of resin used was not right, as I have many unwarped urethane kits
on my layout setting there for many years. Sorry, I have to give these
products one thumb down.
