Seems like a straight forward question to me. How is it confusing?

Well, if a person wants to know that information, all he has to do is
take a poll. Yahoo Groups makes it quite easy. I think the intent
here is to find if an "overlap region" might exist that would appeal
to both transition era guys as well as modern guys (and gals, of
course). I think he is trying to discern the exact boundaries of
that overlap region if, in fact, there is one. Besides, what exactly
is the definition of the "modern era"? Cheers....Ed L.
