"S"peaking of various Kalmbach magazines, the most recent issue of
Model Railroader announced that a new Editor will be taking over with
the June (or was it July?) issue."

Hi again,

I must admit that I quit Model Railroader many, many years ago.

However, in recent years, with a more aggressive editor, Terry Thompson, I have
found that I was buying the magazine off the shelf almost 12 out of 12 months.
There was something in the "rag" that was of interest to me pretty darn
regularly.

So, last year I re-subscribed.
Example, this months June issue;
Seven pike-size passenger trains
Part 2:Tune up your layout Part 1 was in the may issue. By Paul Dolkos
Automobile Boxcars (1951)
Grain Elevator kit-bash
Two very nice small size model railroads in detail.
A Station on a Rock Shelf (PRR Clifton Station) BTS parts are mentioned
Domino backdrops and skirts
Kitbash an N Scale Coal Tipple. This can be easily converted to S scale. Matter
of fact, it looks like my "Kweens Nuggets" Coal mine that I scratch built at
least 10 years ago.
Operating a variety on a small layout.

Oh, I stayed with the NMRA through its financial problems and it now puts out a
beautiful monthly full scale "Rag" called Scale Rails. (Seventy some pages)

Hope this helps!
"S"ee Ya,
Bill
Help! I still have the bad habit of storing all these model railroad magazines.
Just can't force myself to pitch them!
Is there any kind of "patch" out there that I could buy to that would get me to
break off this terribly bad habit? 8~(
