   Hi Bob, I don't know if it's better but I distilled hundreds of old
magazines into one small file cabinet. I went thru them in my spare
time while watching TV etc.  I kept a razor blade handy on the chair
arm and cut out the article that I thought might be usefull later. If
they were multi page articles I stapled the pages together. Then I
filed them under broad categories such as
locos,boxcars,reefers,tools+techniques, etc.  I can usually find a
certain article in a few minutes (assuming I clipped it out in the
first place).....dave
